Job Description:

Within the Academic Affairs Department, your role will be to support the Director of Academic Operations in information services, documentation, and administrative management within departments serving all students at the school.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Welcoming and informing students

o Managing the One-Stop Student Services Desk

o Responding to information requests from applicants and students (via email, phone, or in person) and directing them to the most appropriate departments as needed

o Coordinating the organization of supervised study sessions for first-year engineering students

• Manage and oversee the administrative aspects of the Training Department’s activities

o Manage email and the calendar, track deadlines, handle orders, and coordinate assignments for staff and external speakers...

• Collect information and ensure that the web and intranet pages for applicants and students are kept up to date

• Help organize trade shows, open houses, and conferences

Job requirements

Skills:

  • Knowledge of the structure and operations of higher education

  • Ability to use databases and office software

  • English: B1

Required qualities:

  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to plan work and meet deadlines

  • Interpersonal skills

Required qualifications:

High school diploma through two years of post-secondary education (executive assistant or manager); entry-level candidates welcome.
