Job description:

The Education Department is seeking a contract-based lecturer and researcher in the field of computer science.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching computer science modules in the first year of the General Engineering programme and the Bachelor’s degree in Big Data & Management: algorithms, programming, databases, information systems, computer networks, and data mining

• Teaching optional modules in computer science in the second and third years of the Engineering programme (M1/M2 level): object-oriented programming, real-time image synthesis, virtual and augmented reality, development methodology (testing, version control tools, etc.), computing for biology, computer vision

Required qualifications: A PhD in mathematics.

Nature of the post:

• Contractual lecturer-researcher position – 12-month fixed-term contract
