Job description:

Reporting to the Head of Department and the Head of English, your role will involve teaching and partially coordinating English language and English-medium courses. To this end, you will be required to:

• Deliver at least 384 hours of tutorial teaching per year.

• Be available to deliver lessons and attend meetings from 8am to 6pm on certain days, Monday to Friday

• Take on any other responsibilities that may arise

• Interact with other teaching staff in the department, the School and the School’s partners in French and English

• Monitor students: report any difficulties observed or repeated absences to the Head of English

• Prepare students for the TOEIC in collaboration with other English teachers

• Develop the use of ICT in education, new teaching methods, and new teaching tools and materials

• Ensure consistency in content across different programmes

• Participate in a quality assurance process

• Mark assessments

Where required, you may occasionally contribute to other departmental activities.

Required qualifications:

You hold a master’s degree and have significant experience in higher education.

Nature of the post:

• Contract teaching post – permanent contract

• Full-time post (384 teaching hours) – based in Nantes
